5 weeks – 5 senses – 5 t-shirts… in 2007 and 2012 we spent 5 weeks each on the roads of amazing New Zealand. Brings back memories of great landscapes, great people and great roads. I would like to be on these roads again!

Beautiful Sound by Reinhold Staden

On our second trip to New Zealand in 2012 I captured the waterfall in the awesome, beautiful Milford Sound. I used a small IXUS pocket camera that day, it was raining and windy and we were on a tourist boat approaching the waterfall at that moment. So… no perfect conditions for me… but I hope you enjoy it.

Cook Strait

… lies between the North and South Islands of New Zealand. It connects the Tasman Sea on the northwest with the South Pacific Ocean on the southeast, and runs next to the capital city, Wellington. It is 22 kilometres (14 mi) wide at its narrowest point, and is considered one of the most dangerous and unpredictable waters in the world. (see Wikipedia)
