After our morning walk in the rain, Boomer and I sat down on the sofa with a hot cup of tea and executed our daily morning exercise to create 16 logos in 1 hour using a brand name. Hedy Bach – Bach Creative commented my last post with her brand name yesterday. The 16 logos wouldn’t be final design choices. They would be used for a professional briefing session to include/exclude choices with my client. First step in a 4 step workflow. But that is not the point. I rather do my morning exercise with a real brand name rather than a fictional. So, thank you Hedy for joining. And hopefully there are some inspirations for your further branding. And check out here website and blog. Cool stuff. Happy days. Reinhold and Boomer.
PS: leave a comment with your brand name and the first two will be victims of me and Boomer who is actually sleeping at my side while I am working. A bit unfair. 😁
A few days ago I started an “early morning exercise”. After the morning walk with Boomer and breakfast, we both relax and I use my iPad and Affinity Designer to create 16 logo designs of a fictional brand. In this case (today) it is my brand name for my design work. Nothing spectacular, just exercise and adding to my skills. If you like such an “exercise” for your brand, just leave you brand name and business type in the comments. The first 3 requests will be part of my exercise this week. It is totally free and you can use all designs for your own purposes. Happy days. Reinhold and Boomer 🐶
I left Berlin for the weekend and drove back home. We had beautiful weather. Sunshine and very mild temperatures at our lake. I sat on the terrace and watched the clouds passing by. While I was watching I asked myself how would a perfect cloud look like? I sat there for quite a while and captured this small, cool looking, perfect cloud. Now I am back in Berlin… and I can still see it passing by.
Another image of my “Minimalism” series. Flowers are not my favorite subject. But I bought this one when I saw it and captured it at home. I did the post processing in Lightroom and Photoshop. And when my wife came home, I had a little surprise waiting for her. 🙂
Done is better than perfect – if perfect ain’t done – Eric Thomas.
This photograph finishes my Minimalism series. For now.
I have new projects in preparation but will definitely continue working in this direction.
Early in the morning – the mist vanishes in the background, a transient moment. I like this type of weather… but it is usually restricted to autumn. Pah…only a few months to go and then my camera and me are ready again… for these transient moments.
This is image #3 of 4 of my series: Minimalism
And if you like to view other transient moments, please follow Transient.
Can you see my heartbeat? Strong wind in today’s weather forecast. Come on over to me and let us get ready. Let us fly with the upcoming wind. To new borders and new limits. Let us hear the sound of the wind in my sails and feel the energy of the speed and motion.
Thanks to all for your helpful input. My solution – no real “solution”. I am reducing the image size to 800×600 / 600×800 / 800×800, full use of copyright information in the file and my known watermark. And now… we have some work to accomplish… LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY! 🙂
