all what is happening currently around the world. It has eaten up my happiness, my believes and my creativity. How can I possibly post an awesome, beautiful and motivating moment with all of that in my head. My blog comes to a hold, may be to an end. Then… this will be my last post. Thanks for all your likes, comments and support. I will always remember the days of our weekly photography challenges. May the light always be with you. Stay healthy and safe. May be we see and write us again. When the world has changed and will become a better (at least a normal) place.
hin/weg – Project of Heidi / Nahaufnahme. Theme for this month: Rezept (Recipe). Whether it’s a path through a forest or moor or a solution path… all of them have one thing in common. A leading line. I am using tracks, roads, piers and shapes as leading lines for my images. Do I have a recipe? I think there are no rules, no recipes. Breaking the rules, enjoying the moment, nature and landscapes is more important. The same is true for cooking. I never follow recipes or rules. And I like it. But in our current situation you have to follow one recipe. Stay safe and healthy. Happy days. Reinhold
After our morning walk in the rain, Boomer and I sat down on the sofa with a hot cup of tea and executed our daily morning exercise to create 16 logos in 1 hour using a brand name. Hedy Bach – Bach Creative commented my last post with her brand name yesterday. The 16 logos wouldn’t be final design choices. They would be used for a professional briefing session to include/exclude choices with my client. First step in a 4 step workflow. But that is not the point. I rather do my morning exercise with a real brand name rather than a fictional. So, thank you Hedy for joining. And hopefully there are some inspirations for your further branding. And check out here website and blog. Cool stuff. Happy days. Reinhold and Boomer.
PS: leave a comment with your brand name and the first two will be victims of me and Boomer who is actually sleeping at my side while I am working. A bit unfair. 😁
A few days ago I started an “early morning exercise”. After the morning walk with Boomer and breakfast, we both relax and I use my iPad and Affinity Designer to create 16 logo designs of a fictional brand. In this case (today) it is my brand name for my design work. Nothing spectacular, just exercise and adding to my skills. If you like such an “exercise” for your brand, just leave you brand name and business type in the comments. The first 3 requests will be part of my exercise this week. It is totally free and you can use all designs for your own purposes. Happy days. Reinhold and Boomer 🐶
The days pass by… one like the other. Yesterday I was kind of bored 😑. So I sat down, took my iPad and started to create some graphic designs. Hope you like some. Today things are getting better. Stunning weather forecast for the next days.
I am currently creating my Berlin 2019 calendar. This is my first preselection. I am using a square format. So it doesn’t matter if the images are in square, portrait or landscape format. Only the position of the “calendar” has to be adjusted. I have already used this for my Landscape 2019 calendar.
It is called “Moorland”. The proof version of “Moorland” is on its way to a printer.
Both calendars will be in English and available for pre-order starting in November 2018. The will be produced in 40×40 cm size using fine art paper. It is easy to cut out these images and use them as images to be framed.
I have just finished a special version of a “Landscape” calendar. I have combined images of products of a local company and my landscape images into a final composition. This was a very challenging and time consuming job. The image had to fit to the season (month) and to the product. And the integration shouldn’t “ruin” the image.
This sample shows a “filter” swimming in the water creating some interest for the gulls.
The German transportation system is a nightmare. At least when I am traveling. Wasted time… wasted hours. I usually take out my iPad and start to work with some of my images and Snapseed. At the end some Covers are left in my Scrapbook. Who knows. May be I can use them in one of these days. Happy days. Reinhold
