Something I always wanted to do. Shooting film. Again. Started with a Canon A1 and now I am back where I started. The Agfa Isolette II is a medium format camera (6 x 6) which is consuming roll-film 120. No batteries. No programs. Now I have to proof if I know the art of photography or not. I am really excited to try it. I bought 2 films. Ilford 120 roll-film. FP4 (125 ISO) and DELTA (100 ISO). Found a company in Germany for the development and scanning. Images will be delivered in TIFF format online or via DVD. Prints (any size) are optional. The tripod is about the same age. The Agfa is fully functional, the inside looks brand new. The tripod is basically out of the box. Found both gems in a local antique store round the corner. They were full of dirt and dust. Less than 50 $ for both! A bit of care and love brought them back to life. We will have a lot of fun together. I wait for a bit of sunshine. And then I will try to find some cool compositions and will shoot film again. So excited. :-). Definitely happy days! Reinhold
Good luck! Bring on the sunshine 🙂
Will see to transfer sunshine into black and white, shadows and light and patterns and textures. Still waiting for the test film to return. Thank you, Julie. Always good to see you here and that you still like my images. Reinhold
I will! 🙂
Congratulations. It is a precious gem and a long time favorite.
How exciting! Looking forward to your images, Reinhold.
Me too, Jane. 🙂 First film on it‘s way. Thanks and greetings. Reinhold
Ah, I have an Agfa Isolette…no idea whether it still works! And I won’t be testing it..
😁 I shot a test film today. Already on it’s way to development and scanning. Was fun to work with this little beauty. Greetings. Reinhold
