A credit to my followers and to all people who comment and like my images. Thank you!
This is the second image of day 1. We had quiet heavy wind and waves. I decided to take a closer look at the rocks in the foreground of my first image. Actually… I always wanted to shoot an image like this. A simple and minimalistic composition with all the aspects of a long exposure image. 50mm, f5.6, 30 sec, ISO 200, 10 sec timer. Same camera, same lens. Same location. After that the light was gone. I did one other “test” shot. But I think of it more as an experiment than a planned composition. I add this one as well. Interested what you think about it! Happy days. Reinhold

This is the pier of my first image. This time straight from the front. 80mm, f5.6, 30 sec, ISO 200, 10 sec timer. Same camera, same lens. Same location.
Simplistic, yet powerful compositions!
Thank you so much! 🙂
Your technical notes are beyond my pay-grade to understand, but I can enjoy your shots, both of them. The first one is poetic, peaceful, dreamlike. The second one poses questions which it’s interesting to think about. Thank you!
Thanks, Margaret. I promise to skip the technical notes on the next one! 🙂 But sometimes I am carried away! Happy days. Reinhold
That’s fine. You have those to whom it’s useful and interesting. I just stick to liking your photos!
yes beautifully lyrical….Kudos
Thank you! 🙂
Very poetic. The first one is something not of this earth. The second is also strange. Something where my mind can drift on, to arrive at some place where the words slowly enter the conscious.
Thanks for this nice comment. Glad you like the images. Smiles. Reinhold
