The sculpture is called “Jade” – made by Beuys student Anatol Herzfeld. She is the guardian of the “Jade Busen”, a bay of the North Sea with various sea resorts. Smiles and thanks, Angela!

Anatol Herzfeld, born 1931 has placed this sculpture in Dangast in 1975. I don’t know who inspired whom, but I took a closer look at Anthony Gormley’s work. Wow. Very cool. Thanks for the link, Fraggy!
