Actually 15… yesterday I finished my first shooting of 15 5 weeks old Golden Retriever. Planning, preparation and the shoot took far more time than expected. But it was worth it. So much fun and so much laughing. I built a type of theatre with flexible paper background and lights from left and right on my own. If you are interested in the setup you can contact me via mail. The images here are that small because they are currently for sale. In a few weeks I will post 1-2 high resolution images. Happy Days! Reinhold
Early in the morning – the mist vanishes in the background, a transient moment. I like this type of weather… but it is usually restricted to autumn. Pah…only a few months to go and then my camera and me are ready again… for these transient moments.

And if you like to view other transient moments, please follow Transient.
Whenever I think of a composition
but can’t think of what I saw,
I can’t stop thinking until I think
I am thinking of it again.
I think I think to much.
I think I should make a decision.
But there are so (too) many alternatives.
I captured this image (these images) in the Fintlandsmoor. I used a leveled tripod, a 14mm lens and shot 9 overlapping shots to create this panorama. I created the basic panorama image in Lightroom and did the rest of the work in Photoshop. The image has a size of 10.000 x 4000 px.
A winter morning… freezing cold… the mist is still floating over the marshland… you can already smell the coast and wadden sea. I have to move faster to reach the coastline before the fog is gone.

Can you see my heartbeat? Strong wind in today’s weather forecast. Come on over to me and let us get ready. Let us fly with the upcoming wind. To new borders and new limits. Let us hear the sound of the wind in my sails and feel the energy of the speed and motion.

In my work there is no perfection,
only ambitious versions of drafts
in the timeline of my photographic journey.
When they feel perfect,
that’s when I need to worry most.

Image taken at the Formula 18 cat race last weekend. Added some modifications. So let’s call it an image of my fiction series. 🙂 I added the Lighthouse, a motion effect for the sail and some modifications to the background. The boat did fall to the left side in the end. They were already a bit over the limit.

Dragonfly in search of a Friend… photo has been taken in the Fintlandsmoor, a new cultivated piece of wetland to support the global climate. I am proud that we do something right over here. Otherwise it will be “very, very bad” for this dragonfly and our children. Not a good deal.
Make our planet great again. Earth first.
The old tree in the moor and the groynes in the wadden sea. Both friends of mine. Both are lost. Forever. Replaced by nothing and a modern stone wave breaker. I have seen them so many times over the last 2 years. I thought I bring them together in one last image! I will miss them! Hope they are having a fun time in the trees and groynes heaven.
